Located just North of Keady, Ontario we are a short drive from Owen Sound and Tara. We have a great facility with a sand ring, a grass jumping ring, and beginner cross country course!

Camps
Camps at Sabre Stables are held in Small groups to ensure that all students get the attention they need. The week of camp is filled with great activities which include riding and horse related crafts
March Break Camp
March Break camp is a half day camp held over the week of March Break. This camp is a great oppurtunity to get kids back in the swing of things after the winter and allow new students to get a good feel for horses. Each day is a new oppurtunity to learn with lessons on horse and off. Lessons off the horse are devoted to learning how to care for a horse from grooming to various veterinary teachings.

Summer Camps
Sabre Sables hosts two summer camps each summer; one in July and one in August. These summer camps are full day camps running Monday to Friday. Here the students have two rides a day and on Friday there is a special show to show family and friends everything they learned over their week. Like the March Break camp the students also learn a lot off the horse through lessons and activities. The students also make a different craft every day and go swimming.

Lessons
Lessons are suitable for all ages of riding. During the lessons the focus is on the three disciplines of eventing; dressage, show jumping, and cross country. There are various different types of lessons including individual, group, and occassional. We do not require any special riding gear for lessons with exception to boots with a heel and a helmet. Helmets are available to rent for your first lessons to make sure this is right for you. If you would like any more information please contact us!
Tiny Tots Program
Sabre Sables has a tiny tots program for young beginner riders who can not physically or mentally last for a complete hour. This program pairs up two young riders and one pony. Together the young riders learn to tack-up, groom, un-tack and ride, taking turns during the rider portion.
