SABRE STABLES
Located just North of Keady, Ontario we are a short drive from Owen Sound and Tara. We have a great facility with a sand ring, a grass jumping ring, and beginner cross country course!

Horses available for part-lease at Sabre Stables
Sabre Stables has a part-lease program where you can lease one of the various horses at Sabre Stables. You will receive 3 rides per week on your horse (including one instructed lesson).
Ben
Ben is a 13.1hh welsh/arab pony that can be used for young children as well as small experienced riders. He has 3 lovely gaits suitable for the dressage ring and a scoopy jump to clear anything you put in front of him. He is an all around safe pony and is great cross country schooling.
Bens personality is A+ and is always a perfect gentleman on the ground and riding. He has a great show record as well coming home with red ribbons every time. He has successfully shown in combinged training and in the hunter ring. He has completed many Pony Club activities.

Brandy
Brandy is a 15.1 hh standardbred mare that makes riding seem easy. She has competed in eventing for several years and has successfully competed to training level. She has 3 lovely gates, leg yields, shoulder fore, etc. Although not normally shown in the dressage ring she trains at 2st level dressage.
In the jumping ring or cross country Brandy has no issues. She is the perfect horse to gain confidence while jumping because she does not stop or run out of jumps. She is great in the open and in the ring and is very polite.
Brandy can easily be ridden by beginner riders but she would prefer and experienced rider. She is currently available for part-lease, please contact for more information.
Shamra
Shamra is a 16 hh fresian/percheron with a lovely personality. She is great for adult beginner riders and could also be suited towards a young/ adult experienced rider. She is built big which makes her great to carry a heavier rider such as a man. Her broad body also helps the beginner rider with balance.
Shamra is great in the ring and out on trails. She has lovely movement and with an experienced rider could excel in dressage or jumping.

Fiona
Fiona is a 11.2hh shetland pony. She can take away your "bad pony" opinions you may have as she is perfect for any young rider who wants to ride. Fiona is primarily used for the tiny tot program to teach very young children to ride. She has also gone to several shows always coming home in the ribbons. She can do w/t/c and jump teaching the young rider proper ways of riding and allowing the rider to be close to the ground.
Fiona can also be a benifit to older riders. Can't ride? Consider driving! Fiona is trained under harness which allows her to be used in cart lessons for all ages of students.
There is nothing this pony can't do! Fiona is currently available for part-lease.
Zena
Zena is a 14.1hh standardbred who has done it all. She can be used for both inexperienced and experienced riders. She is great on the flat in the dressage setting and can jump the moon. She is a people horse who loves attention and will do anything for an apple.
Zena has gone to many shows and many pony club activities. She excels in the jumper ring and loves cross country.
Zena currently has a rider for part-lease but will still be used in some lessons.
